More than 25 Amazon employees from Toronto-area fulfilment and sortation centres and delivery stations took to the streets of downtown Toronto with their family and friends on November 26, enjoying a VIP viewing experience of the Santa Claus Parade, sponsored by Prime Video.
Experiencing the Santa Claus parade with my family and friends was pure magic. Seeing the wonder and excitement in my friends' eyes made it truly special. We laughed, cheered, and waved along as the parade marched through, capturing moments that'll forever be etched in our family's holiday story. Thank you for this opportunity.
The parade featured a Prime Video float spotlighting Eddie Murphy’s first holiday film Candy Cane Lane. The film is a holiday comedy adventure about a man on a mission to win hi neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. After Chris (Eddie Murphy) inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper (Jillian Bell) to better his chances of winning, she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, and wreaks havoc on the whole town. The float centered around the Candy Cane Lane Spectacular featured in the film, showcasing magical characters and larger than life décor inspired by the film.
I was very surprised and excited to learn I won four tickets to attend the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. My husband and I, along with my best friend and her daughter, really enjoyed it! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to experience the parade together.
Amazon employees were treated to complimentary hot beverages and pizza, as well as a designated “Blitzen Island” zone exclusively assigned by Prime Video. This festive zone not only provided optimal viewing spots but also encapsulated the spirit of the season, creating an enchanting atmosphere for families to bask in the joy of the parade.
The Toronto Santa Claus Parade experience was a testament to Amazon’s commitment to fostering connections and bringing joy to the communities it serves while underscoring the mission to be Earth's best employer.
As the holiday season continues, Amazon remains dedicated to spreading joy, delivering smiles and being a part of celebrations that bring communities together.
