One of the biggest new Prime Video stars made a special visit to Amazon’s YUL2 fulfilment centre in Greater Montreal to celebrate the site’s first-ever Family Day on Saturday, August 24th. Elisabeth Rioux, - star of Prime Video's premiere series Elisabeth Rioux: Sans Filtre – got a behind the scenes visit of the 180,000 square foot facility alongside the family members of frontline employees.
"Family has always been a core value for me, and it is an honor to share that with our team at YUL2," said Jean-François Héroux, General Manager at YUL2. "My children and I enjoyed sharing with Elisabeth a glimpse of the heart of our operations with our friends and family."
During Family Day, Amazon employees were invited to bring their loved ones behind the scenes to learn more about their workplace, where customer orders are fulfilled. Elisabeth and other attendees received an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how an Amazon package is processed, witnessing the intricate logistics involved and learning about Amazon's commitment to employee safety and well-being.
Adding a fun and personal touch to the day, the children were able to pack their own back-to-school supplies.
With Elisabeth Rioux's visit, Family Day was made even more exciting, making it an unforgettable event for all attendees.
