Spanning more than 120,000 square feet, equivalent to about seven standard Canadian hockey rinks, Amazon’s Winnipeg delivery station plays a critical role in ensuring fast, efficient deliveries for local customers. Every day, the facility processes more than 30,000 packages, which are sorted and placed on delivery vehicles.

At the station, called DMW2, a dedicated team of more than 100 employees work behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly. Trucks filled with customer orders arrive at the facility, where employees unload, sort, and prepare packages for delivery. These packages are then handed off to one of the Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) operating from the site, with a team of delivery drivers responsible for completing the last-mile journey to customers’ doorsteps.
